This website is operated by Mirthe Claes, working from the province of Limburg, Belgium. Contact: [email protected].

We do not publish a full street address on this site. We also do not list a company registration (KBO) or VAT number because they do not apply to this personal portfolio.

What data do we process?

For security and normal operation, standard server or network logs may be stored briefly (such as IP address, time, and general browser information).

If you contact us by email (mailto), your email client handles the message. We process messages we receive only to respond to your inquiry.

If you use the contact form, we process the details you enter (such as name, email address, message, and inquiry type) to respond to your request. Each submission is stored in our secure administration environment and a notification is sent by email when delivery is configured. We do not use this information for unrelated marketing.

Instagram content on this site

When enabled, recent Instagram posts are fetched server-side via the Meta Graph API and displayed here. We do not load third-party advertising or analytics cookies on public pages for that feed.

Cookies and usage insight

This public site does not set marketing or analytics cookies and does not load third-party advertising or analytics scripts.

Optionally, an administrator may store simple first-party statistics (such as opening images in the portfolio) on the server only after explicitly enabling this in configuration; this does not use cookies in your browser. It is off by default. Technical server logs may still be kept briefly by hosting for security.

Retention

Server logs are kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting. Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your request, unless a longer retention period is legally required.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may have rights including access, rectification, and erasure of your personal data where applicable, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (GBA).
